ManTech Names Gregory A. Roman as Senior Vice President for Space and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Services
Air Force veteran commanded space intelligence units
FAIRFAX, Va., Jan 12, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- ManTech International Corporation(Nasdaq: MANT) has named Gregory A. Roman as Senior Vice President for Space and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Services in its Systems Engineering and Advanced Technology group. Mr. Roman will oversee support to NASA, Air Force systems engineering and technical analysis programs, the National Reconnaissance Office, ISR services and space situational awareness contracts.

Before joining ManTech Mr. Roman was a vice president at SRA International in Colorado Springs where he was responsible for growing business with U.S. Northern Command, Air Force Space Command and the Army Space and Missile Defense Command. His organization focused on enterprise architecture; missile defense; intelligence; and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance. His group received national recognition for Measurement and Signature Intelligence and remote sensing capabilities.

Prior to his civilian work, Mr. Roman completed 23 years in the U.S. Air Force retiring as the Commander of the 544th Information Operations Group at Pederson AFB, Colorado where he directed more than 500 people at 13 worldwide locations and managed all Air Force special technical operations space intelligence units. During his Air Force career he also served as the Chief, Intelligence Operations Division, North American Defense Command and United States Space Command; as Commander, 390th Intelligence Squadron, Kadena AB, Japan; the Air Force legislative liaison to the House and Senate Intelligence Committees and Armed Services Committees; and Air Staff Tactical Cryptologic Program Element Monitor.

Mr. Roman received a master's in business administration in Information Technology from Colorado Technical University; a master of science degree in management from Troy State University, Alabama; and a bachelor of science degree in political science from the U.S. Air Force Academy.
