FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 27, 2008--ManTech
International Corporation (Nasdaq:MANT) announced today that it has
been awarded an $83 million contract from the Naval Air Systems
Command to provide Engineering and Technical Support Services in
support of the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division Warfare
Analysis Department, AIR 4.10. The contract is for one year, with four
additional option years, giving the program a total potential value of
$83.2 million. It is an increase in scope over ManTech's current
Warfare Analysis contract with NAVAIR which was awarded in December
2004. The new contract also provides for an expansion of existing work
for additional requirements.
The competitively awarded, indefinite-delivery,
indefinite-quantity contract has a base year plus four option years.
Under this contract, ManTech will support the U.S. Naval Air System
Command with a variety of analytical products and services including
warfare analysis and assessments, advanced concept development and
design, acquisition analysis and support, modeling and simulation,
Naval Aviation Enterprise Warfare Analysis Environment support,
software development, and programmatic analysis support.
Work will be performed primarily at NAVAIR in Patuxent River, MD
and Arlington, VA with some work conducted in the surrounding area and
other locations in the United States.
